The Vermont Center for Integrative Health is a great resource for herbal enthusiasts. I have attended a handful of classes—last night's being on aromatherapy. I have used aromatherapy since my teens—aware of the effects of various scents (happy, calm, excited, aware, etc...). Herbalism has been a large part of my life for quite a while now—and I am mixing that new and growing knowledge base with my love for the scents. I am approaching aromatherapy in a whole new way—with a whole perspective. A simple user (a dash of peppermint oil on my wrist), I am now experimenting with oils and creams. Looking for local beeswax, so let me know if you have a nice source.
Our lovely Charlie has spent three years with our ladies—and sired many beautiful lambs. Thank you Charlie—we will miss you.
Each morning when I wake, I look upon our neighbor's lovely barns, home and land. It is truly lovely in each season.
Last night, we had the enormous pleasure of sharing dinner with Robin, Ray, Jen and Aaron. Robin cooked an amazing dinner—with our lamb (a leg) and Aaron's farm veggies (beets, kale)....rolls—all made ... truly .... farm to table. Very special. What a huge way to honor and appreciate the work, the soil, the life and lives. Thank you so much.
Welcome to Stowell Farm. This site tells and shows a bit about the many things we do on this amazing property on the East Warren Road in the Mad River Valley.
